IRSE Seminar - Tools for the automation of engineering

Save the Date 12 June 2025

For logistical reasons, the joint IRSE and IMechE ‘Tools for the automation of engineering’ seminar has been rescheduled and will now take place on 12 June 2025. Thank you to those who have expressed interest so far. We are excited to run this event addressing topics key to the future productivity and competitiveness of our industry.

Please contact seminars@irse.org with any specific queries.

The event has had strong interest, and we are pleased to be able to extend the period for accepting papers, with existing submissions carried forward for the new date.

We are excited to invite you to the ‘Tools for the automation of engineering’ conference for operators, suppliers, infrastructure owners and anyone with an interest in signalling projects. We’ll explore the transformative power of artificial intelligence, robotics, and advanced automation in our industry.

These cutting-edge technologies have the potential to revolutionise the way we design, install, test, operate, and maintain our railway systems. There are already fantastic developments taking the toil out of repetitive tasks, enhancing productivity, working faster and more accurately than is “humanly” possible.

There is a shortage of skilled engineers so we need these to keep projects and railways running.

Save the date of 12 June 2025 and join us as we delve into the opportunities, engage with industry experts, share insights, and connect with peers as we navigate the future together.

We are still accepting papers and those already received will be carried forward for the new date

Sponsorship and speaking opportunities available, please get in touch via seminars@irse.org for more information.
